  • Fortnite is better than PUBG?

    Fortnite is better than PUBG?

Really? yeah! I think Fortnite is Really Better. Oh, please don’t shoot me PUBG players! Why would I offend millions of PUBG fans…? There’s still a long way to go. Why not sit back and discover the facts about two phenomenal games in the esports world?

Both games took the world by storm in 2017. Players were astonished, flabbergasted, amazed, euphoric, impressed and thrilled to play them. The world divided into two; one side captivated by Fortnite’s freshness and the other stunned by PUBG’s gritty reality.

let’s dig deeper to know their competition

    First Look, First Feel

PUBG truly feels like a battle royale. An army‑like environment where warriors drop onto hostile terrain to conquer, to snatch victory, to be the last man standing, to win, to taste the iconic chicken dinner. It looks and feels like a real battleground where every moment carries the fear of death.

And when I first looked at Fortnite, it felt nothing like a battleground. Fresh and colorful, it was fun to gather loot and build forts. But just when you’re busy building, an enemy shows up, and you suddenly remember this is still a battle royale where you have to fight to win. haha. But honestly, once I got used to its playful environment, I stopped forgetting to shoot back and started enjoying the chaos.

So, for that first impression closest to a real battlefield atmosphere:

    PUBG: 9/10

    Fortnite: 7/10

    Style matters a lot

Most PUBG players customize their in‑game characters, but honestly, the results aren’t always pleasing to the eye. In my view, you should look good when you claim your chicken dinner or at least die looking stylish. The problem is, PUBG doesn’t offer eye‑catching skins the way Fortnite does. The variety and visual appeal of Fortnite’s cosmetics are far ahead of PUBG’s, making Fortnite the clear winner when it comes to style.

    In styling context:

    PUBG: 5/10

    Fortnite: 9/10

    Who can play them?

PUBG is built on a soldier’s mindset, kill or be killed. There’s no major distraction from the battlefield, no creative side activity, purely a strategy game. That’s why most boys and young men, from teenagers to adults, choose PUBG, it’s raw survival pressure. But this intensity also means defeat hits harder. Getting eliminated in PUBG often feels brutal, with nothing to soften the sting.

Fortnite however, plays on a different psychology. Smashing walls, roofs, or boxes with your axe is oddly satisfying, and the ability to build your own fort adds a creative layer. Even when you get killed, the act of building gives you a sense of accomplishment. The frustration of defeat doesn’t cut as deep because Fortnite rewards creativity as much as combat.

So to the availability to every age group:

    PUBG: 7/10

    Fortnite: 9/10

    The Things

In PUBG, vehicles feel raw and realistic. Driving isn’t always smooth and that’s the point. When you’re escaping enemy fire or chasing someone down, the car bumps, zigzags, and struggles just like it would in real life, giving you that authentic vibe.

In Fortnite, vehicles are the opposite. They’re too smooth, too perfect in looks, and fit right into the cartoonish environment. Fun to use, but they don’t carry the same “real‑world” driving feel that PUBG delivers.

    The Guns

Even the names of guns show the difference. In PUBG, you get realistic names like M16, DP‑28, M416, AKM, Mini‑14, M249, Groza. In Fortnite, the names are more playful: OG Pump Shotgun, Exotic Heist Accelerant, MK‑7, Heavy Sniper, Gold Scar.

When you shoot in PUBG, the gun kicks back with recoil, just like in reality. In Fortnite, there’s no recoil at all, shots feel smooth and easy. The burst and sound effects in PUBG guns feel heavier and more lifelike, while Fortnite’s are cleaner, lighter, and fit its playful style.

    The visuals

In PUBG, the natural designs never disappoint. The grass, trees, and water all feel carefully worked on, giving the battlefield a realistic edge. You can almost sense the effort put into making the world immersive.

In Fortnite, the look is fresh and colorful, but sometimes too much. The grass feels overly green, and the trees don’t really stand out, they’re more lively than impressive. That fits Fortnite’s cartoonish style, but when it comes to natural detail, the clear winner is PUBG.

So, to the cars, guns and visuals to their real nature:

    PUBG: 9/10

    Fortnite: 6/10

    Updates & Freshness

PUBG, on the other hand, doesn’t refresh at the same pace. While it adds maps and modes, the updates aren’t as frequent or flashy. That slower rhythm makes PUBG feel more stable and grounded, but it doesn’t have the same “wow factor” of Fortnite’s ever‑changing world.

Fortnite stays in demand because it constantly feels new. Weekly updates, crossovers, new skins, and collaborations keep the game fresh and exciting. There’s always something different to look forward to, whether it’s a Marvel hero, a Star Wars event, or a quirky new cosmetic.

so to the freshness of the game:

    PUBG: 7/10

    Fortnite: 9/10

    The verdict

At the end of the day, both PUBG and Fortnite are global phenomena, each loved in their own regions for different reasons. PUBG thrives in Asia with its rough, realistic survival vibe, while Fortnite shines in America with its colorful creativity and constant updates.

So, no offense to anybody, these are two masterpieces men have created for men, and both deserve their place in gaming history. Each has its highs and lows, yet both are not just surviving but thriving. In the end, play the one that suits your style best!

  • Arslan Ash & Atif Butt: Tekken Giants from Pakistan

Arslan Ash & Atif Butt: Tekken Giants from Pakistan

Both are Champions, both are Friends and both are Pakistanis.

Tekken’s journey in the FGC feels incomplete without the contributions of Pakistani players and if you know the game, then you have definitely heard the names Arslan ash and Atif butt.

Arslan Ash, a seven-time EVO champion and Tekken World Tour 2023 winner, is currently representing Twisted Minds. Atif Butt, the Tekken World Tour 2022 champion and IESF World Champion 2023, now plays under Team Falcons. Both players hail from Pakistan and began their journeys in Lahore’s arcade scene, rising from local competition to become global icons of the Tekken community.

screenshot of Arslan Ash & Atif Butt from facebook

    Who is Arslan Ash?

Arslan Ash Siddique is a Lahori who began playing Tekken in his early childhood. From the start, Arslan’s dominance was clear; he defeated anyone who challenged him in local arcades. With his friends, including Atif, he declared: “My game is beyond limits. I want to compete with the legends of Tekken like Knee and Ulsan, and I know I will defeat them.” At the time, few believed him.

Yet his determination, consistency, and willingness to take risks pushed him forward. Borrowing money, relying on friends’ support, and carrying his mother’s prayers, Arslan traveled to Oman for his first international competition and amazingly won.

From that moment, he never looked back. He went on to defeat South Korea’s legendary players like Knee, Ulsan, and LowHigh in multiple tournaments, establishing himself as nearly invincible on the global stage.

    Who is Atif Butt?

“People know me as the Tekken World Tour Champion, Atif Butt!” That’s how Atif Ijaz Butt introduces himself to those unfamiliar with his legacy. Belongs to Gujranwala, a city in Punjab, Pakistan, Atif has been playing Tekken and other fighting games since 2005. His journey from local competitions to becoming a global champion reflects years of dedication, skill, and an unbreakable passion for the fighting game community.

    Gameplay

    Arslan’s Style

Arslan Ash’s style is often described as calm and lowkey. He plays with his opponents’ nerves, keeping his composure under the pressure of finals and large crowds. Rather than locking into one character, he experiments and switches until he finds the one that feels most natural, focusing on how the character evolves in his hands. This adaptability makes him unpredictable and hard to counter.

Interestingly, he has now become strongly associated with Nina, a character he has used to secure more victories than anyone else, further cementing his reputation as one of Tekken’s most versatile champions.

    Atif’s Style

Atif Butt’s style is aggressive and fearless. He overwhelms opponents with sharp moves and lightning-fast actions, often turning his enemy’s character into pulp under relentless pressure. He frequently uses characters like Anna, Jin, and Dragunov to deliver this punishing style.

Known as a fearsome competitor, Atif thrives on momentum; once he gains control, he dismantles his rivals with speed and precision. This intensity, combined with his ability to sustain pressure throughout a match, makes him one of the most dangerous and dominant players in the Tekken scene.

Their journeys, built on modest beginnings and relentless dedication (practicing together for continuous 10 to 12 hours or more for the event), have carried them to international fame since 2019. • Be Smart, master these 5 Skills to become a Pro from a Total Noob in PUBG

Be Smart, master these 5 Skills to become a Pro from a Total Noob in PUBG

Playing PUBG is NOT fun at all, at least that’s what I learned as a beginner. Watching kids play with such focus and dedication, I thought it wouldn’t be too difficult for me as an adult. But that decision led to plenty of defeats and frustration. Eventually, I realized the smart move was to learn directly from pro players. From them, I discovered the 5 key qualities that make all the difference in excelling at PUBG.

    1. Masters at Reading the Map
    2. Experts in Spotting Enemies from Afar
    3. Skilled at Precise Gunfire
    4. Smart at Staying Hidden
    5. Proficient in Grenade Precision

    Masters of the Map

When I first dropped into PUBG, I was completely clueless. I thought playing it safe meant landing in deserted areas, far away from the chaos. The result? I spent half the match running through empty fields, exhausting myself just to bump into a single enemy… only to die in the most ridiculous way. I didn’t know where to land, how to find decent loot, or even how to avoid getting trapped by the storm. Every match felt like a crash course in survival, and the only way I learned was by dying a hundred times over.

Eventually, I turned to pro player streams, that’s when I realized Erangel plays important role in how you land and play actively in PUBG. Pro players don’t drop into the busiest hotspots or the emptiest corners; they choose hybrid zones that balance risk and reward; half deserted, half crowded. The moment they hit the ground; they rush into the nearest building to avoid getting picked off instantly.

Inside, they secure the essentials: first aid kits, armor, and reliable weapons. This early loot gives them the confidence to push forward, survive the storm, and stay in the fight instead of wasting energy on endless running.

Masters of Spotting Enemies from Afar

Most of the time, I used to get killed without even knowing where the shots were coming from or where the distant enemy was hiding. In shooting games, close-range enemies can often be detected by their footsteps or running sounds, but spotting faraway opponents requires sharper awareness. Pro players excel at this because they don’t lock their vision on a single spot; instead, they scan the entire area with a quick glance before focusing on their target. One useful tip is to pay attention to vehicles; if a car is parked near a building, it usually means an enemy is inside. And since most players instinctively head upstairs for a vantage point, scanning upper floors and windows often reveals hidden threats.

In crowded areas, pros concentrate on building edges, windows, vehicles, and natural cover like trees, bushes, or slopes, since enemies rarely move across open ground without protection. Another key strategy is predicting enemy movement: as the safe zone shrinks, most players rush to get inside it, so those boundary areas become hotspots for encounters.

By combining these observations, scanning efficiently, reading environmental clues, and anticipating enemy positions, you can spot distant opponents more reliably and avoid being caught off guard.

    Masters of Gunplay and Headshots

For beginners, firing often leads to getting killed, at least that was my experience. The moment I shot, the enemy spotted me, and I was done. I had no idea about angles, shooting speed, or which body part to aim for.

Watching pro players changed everything. They don’t just fire randomly; they shoot with precision. Pros aim slightly ahead of their moving target, keeping their shots in a straight, continuous line without unnecessary breaks. Their focus is always on the head, since headshots are the fastest way to eliminate an opponent. Speed also matters; consistent, controlled firing ensures accuracy and pressure on the enemy. By mastering angle, timing, and target choice, pros turn every shot into a calculated strike rather than a desperate attempt, and that’s what separates them from beginners.

    Masters of Survival Skills

Whenever I stepped into an open area, I almost always got killed instantly. I couldn’t understand how pro players survived in those wide, exposed spaces while I kept getting eliminated. Over time, I realized the difference. When I shot from behind a wall or near a window, I often stayed there too long, and the enemy would spot me immediately and that was the end of me. Pro players, on the other hand, never linger after firing from a window or peek spot. They shoot, then instantly change position or drop to the ground to avoid being tracked.

And when they have to cross open ground, they don’t just run blindly; they throw a smoke grenade first, creating cover so enemies can’t lock onto them. Another trick is reducing the sound of their footsteps, keeping opponents confused and unable to pinpoint their location. That way, they can surprise enemies by appearing unexpectedly. Isn’t it amazing how these small, strategic habits make the difference between getting killed instantly and surviving like a pro?

    Masters of grenade precision

At first, I thought tossing grenades at enemies would be a cup of tea; easy, straightforward, no big deal. But oh man, reality hit hard. The very first time I threw a grenade, it gave away my location, and instead of hearing the satisfying boom I was waiting for, I heard a gunshot… and I was dead. Hahaha.

That’s when I realized grenade mastery isn’t just about pressing the throw button—it’s an art. You have to learn how long to cook the nade, judge the distance between you and the enemy, and pinpoint their exact location with precision.

I started asking pro players, and here’s what I learned:

    • Keep the distance around 47 meters.
    • Cook the grenade for about 4 seconds.
    • Go into advanced settings and enable “show trajectory line.”
    • Stay hidden, line up your throw carefully, and then release with precision.

Grenades are actually mind games. Done right, they’re devastating. Done wrong, they’re basically a death announcement for yourself.

  • 5 Reasons of LOL’s long and tremendous success

5 Reasons of LOL’s long and tremendous success

I first discovered League of Legends after watching the Chinese Drama Falling in Love with You, which was based on esports. The game featured in the competition looked strikingly similar to League of Legends, and that curiosity led me to explore and eventually find the real thing.

I was astonished to discover that League of Legends is already 15 years old, first released in 2009, and yet it remains one of the most popular games today. What amazed me even more is that despite the rise of mobile gaming, this legendary title is still played mostly on PC, proving its enduring strength in the esports world.

Then I grew curious and began gathering the reasons why anyone who experiences it once can never escape its spell and I got these five reasons:

    1. Game story is Compelling

The game begins with two teams of five players, each controlling champions and aiming to destroy the opponent’s base. Victory goes to the team that succeeds first, making League of Legends a true strategy game built on teamwork. Yet many experienced players advise turning off your microphone, not to ignore your team, but to protect yourself from toxic language and avoid getting tilted during matches.

In League of Legends, the path to victory runs through three lanes: top, mid, and bottom. Each lane is guarded by three turrets and an inhibitor, standing like watchtowers to block your advance. Break through them, and you’ll still face two mighty Nexus turrets protecting the enemy’s heart.

But the lanes aren’t your only option. Slip into the jungle, and you’ll encounter powerful neutral monsters waiting to test your strength. The mighty Baron Nashor, the elemental Dragons (Infernal, Mountain, Ocean, Cloud, and the rare Elder Dragon), the Rift Herald, and the relentless Red Brambleback and Blue Sentinel all lurk there. Defeating them grants your team crucial buffs that can turn the tide of battle.

Every choice, lane or jungle, is a strategic gamble, and that’s what makes LoL endlessly captivating.

    2. Environment, Ambiance, and Visual Appeal

When you start playing League of Legends, what stands out most is the atmosphere. The map feels alive with bright colors and smooth animations that make every fight look exciting.

For a casual player, the lanes look like natural paths leading the way, the jungle feels like a hidden shortcut full of surprises, and the towers shine like protectors guarding your base. At the center, the Nexus glows as the main goal, pulling your attention toward victory. It’s a vibrant world that feels welcoming and fun to explore.

    3. Wuxia style champions are super attractive

I haven’t seen skins in any other game as appealing as those in League of Legends. Riot Games has done an impressive job with its roster of over 120 champions, each brought to life with unique skins that go beyond simple cosmetics. Many skins add new visual effects, animations, and even voice lines, making them feel fresh and exciting.

Fans especially love collections like the K/DA skins (inspired by Riot’s virtual pop group), the Spirit Blossom series with its beautiful, fantasy‑style designs, and epic skins like Project Yasuo or Star Guardian Ahri. Corporate Mundo, with his hilarious businessman style, remains one of the most iconic skins Riot has ever created.

These examples show how skins let players express their style while keeping the game visually engaging.

    4. spin-offs are Refreshing

To keep the League of legends fresh, Riot Games has mastered the art of spin‑offs, giving fans experiences that go way beyond Summoner’s Rift. Its music videos, like the recently released Salvation, have earned huge recognition and continue the tradition of viral hits such as K/DA and True Damage.

The animated series Arcane became a global phenomenon on Netflix, praised for its storytelling and visuals, and is often called one of the best video game adaptations ever. Riot has also published comics that dive deeper into champion lore and even created a board game that lets fans enjoy LoL’s strategy in a different format.

    5. Tournaments hit different

League of Legends tournaments are organized in a tiered system that makes it easy to follow the journey from local play to the world stage. At the base are smaller amateur events where new players and semi-pro teams get a chance to prove themselves.

Above that are the regional leagues, like Korea’s LCK, China’s LPL, Europe’s LEC, and North America’s LCS, which act like national championships where the best teams in each region battle for dominance.

The winners then qualify for international tournaments, the biggest being the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) and the World Championship (Worlds). MSI is a mid-year global clash, while Worlds is the ultimate showdown, often compared to the World Cup, where the strongest teams from every region compete for the title of best in the world.

This structure makes LoL esports special because it builds a clear path for players: start small, rise through regional competition, and aim for global glory, all while showcasing unique playstyles from different parts of the world.

5 POINTLESS & Unnecessary items in PUBG (you will agree)

In PUBG, not every item is useful. Some look helpful but end up slowing you down or taking up space. This list highlights the items players often regret picking up and why they might be better off without them.

    1. Bandages

In many competitive games, bandages are the go-to remedy for minor injuries, scratches, falls, or quick skirmishes. They’re easy to use, widely available, and often the first aid option players reach for. But let’s be honest: in high-mobility scenarios where you’re constantly sprinting, dodging, or rotating across the map, bandages feel like dead weight.

The Problem with Bandages in Fast Gameplay

    • Slow Recovery: Bandages offer minimal healing over time, which doesn’t match the pace of modern combat.
    • Zero Utility While Moving: If you’re constantly on the run, their effectiveness drops to zero. You can’t heal and move efficiently.
    • Inventory Clutter: They often take up space without delivering meaningful value in clutch moments.

Is It Time for Smarter Healing in PUBG?

Bandages feel outdated; slow, clunky, and nearly useless when you’re on the move. In today’s fast-paced matches, healing needs to be quick, responsive, and tactical.

    Imagine:

    • Auto-injectors that heal while you run
    • Tiered medkits that focus on critical wounds
    • Cooldown-based healing pulses that boost team synergy

Bandages had their moment in slower gameplay. But now, the meta demands agility and smarter resource management. It’s time for healing mechanics that adapt, react, and elevate the fight.

    2. Used Helmets & Vests

Are Worn-Out Armors Worth It? Rethinking Durability in High-Stakes Combat

In the heat of battle, every second and every scrap of protection counts. But let’s face it: used armors and low-durability helmets often feel like false hope. They offer brief protection, a momentary defense, before giving way under pressure.

The Harsh Truth About Low-Durability Gear

    • Minimal Protection: Once an armor’s durability drops, its effectiveness plummets. It barely absorbs damage, making it more symbolic than strategic.
    • Short-Term Lifeline: Helmets might save you from a single headshot, but they rarely survive the next.
    • Inventory Drag: Carrying worn gear adds weight without real value, especially in long rotations or endgame zones.

Time for a Smarter Armor System?

What if instead of clinging to broken gear, players could:

    • Salvage parts to reinforce better armor?
    • Fuse multiple damaged pieces into a single, more durable unit?
    • Deploy temporary energy shields that scale with movement or zone pressure?

These changes wouldn’t just look cool; they’d make gameplay smarter and more strategic.

Something is better than Nothing… But Not for Long

Yes, a cracked helmet is better than no helmet. But in a game where milliseconds decide survival, false security can be fatal. It’s time to evolve beyond “better than nothing” and introduce gear that adapts, endures, and empowers.

    3. Quickdraw Magazine

Why Quickdraw Mags Often Get Ignored in PUBG

Some players even argue that if an Extended Mag isn’t available, it’s better to skip the attachment slot entirely than settle for a Quickdraw. It’s a harsh take, but it reflects how competitive the meta has become. In a game where milliseconds matter, capacity often beats speed.

    4. Hippie Van

In PUBG, mobility can mean survival. Whether you’re rotating to the next zone or fleeing a firefight, your vehicle choice matters. And while the hippie van might look fun and nostalgic, it’s often seen as a liability on the battlefield.

Why Players Avoid the Hippie Van

    • Too slow to escape: Its low speed makes it hard to outrun danger or reposition quickly.
    • Huge target: Its bulky frame is easy to spot and even easier to hit.
    • Poor handling: Navigating tight terrain or dodging enemy fire feels clumsy and risky.
    • No stealth factor: Its colorful design and loud engine grab attention, exactly what you don’t want in a survival game.

    Better Alternatives Exist

    Most players prefer:

    • Dacia for speed and control
    • Motorbikes for quick escapes
    • Pickup trucks for balance between cover and mobility

These vehicles offer better performance without turning you into a rolling billboard.

    Cool looks aren’t enough

The hippie van might be fun to look at, but in PUBG’s high-stakes combat, it’s more of a trap than a tool. It’s slow, loud, and hard to defend. Unless you’re roleplaying or trolling, most players agree: choose survival over style.

    5. Cosmetic Clothes

In the battlegrounds of PUBG, helmets and vests are more than fashion, they’re survival. They absorb bullets, deflect headshots, and often decide whether you live to see the next circle. But what about the rest of your wardrobe? The trench coats, ghillie suits, neon tracksuits, and branded collabs; do they serve a purpose beyond the mirror?

    The Truth About Cosmetic Clothing

    • No gameplay advantage: Unlike armor, cosmetic outfits offer zero protection or stat boosts.
    • Visual clutter: Over-looting clothes can make your character bulkier or more visible; especially in stealth zones.
    • Inventory illusion: While they don’t weigh you down mechanically, they can clutter your visual identity and distract from tactical focus.

    Just a Show-Off?

Some players argue that excessive cosmetics are just vanity loot; a way to flex skins, not skill. And in a game where every second counts, flashy outfits can feel like a liability, not a legacy. so why carry dead weight? Leave the fashion, keep the firepower.

Most Wanted Skins in Fortnite—Even the Ugly Ones

“Lara, stop! Now move forward—yes, yes, shoot! No, wait—hide behind the wall!”

“Son, what’s going on? Why are you shouting? And who’s Lara?”
“Nothing, Ammi. She’s a game character. I’m just playing Fortnite and giving instructions to my in-game player.”

If you’ve ever heard these lines echoing through your home, you’re not alone. Welcome to the world of online gaming, where players shout commands to characters like Lara Croft. But who are these characters? Can their names and appearances be changed? Let’s dive into the world of Fortnite skins and discover what makes them so popular.

    What Is an In-Game Player?

An in-game player is the character inside the video game who follows the instructions of the real-life player. In the early days of gaming, there was usually just one default character. But as gaming evolved, so did the ability to customize these characters—giving players the freedom to choose, modify, and even build a unique identity in the gaming universe.

    What Is a Skin?

In gaming, a “skin” refers to the appearance or outfit of your in-game character. Think of it as a costume that can be changed or upgraded. Some skins are simple—just color swaps—while others are elaborate, featuring animations, light effects, and unique movements. These are purchased using V-Bucks, Fortnite’s in-game currency. Skins don’t affect gameplay directly—they’re purely cosmetic—but they’re a huge part of the game’s visual appeal.

    Why Do Skins Matter?

    🔹 Identity & Style

Your skin is your signature. It’s how players recognize you. Whether it’s a sleek warrior or a goofy banana, your skin reflects your personality and playstyle.

    🔹 Sense of Achievement

Rare skins are often earned through challenges or purchased at high cost. Owning one gives players a sense of pride—like winning a trophy or unlocking a badge of honor.

    🔹 Confidence Boost

Some skins have such bold animations and designs that they make players feel more confident. They stand out, they intimidate, and they energize the player behind the screen.

    Midas

alt="Screenshot of Midas skin in Fortnite, glowing eyes and golden suit from Chapter 2 Season 2"

When I first saw the Midas skin, it gave me goosebumps. He looked cold, creepy, and powerful—like something out of a scary story.

Anyhow, this mysterious, dangerous, and cunning—Midas is a golden touch legend. Anything he touches turns to gold, including weapons and vehicles. His glowing eyes give him a ghostly vibe. Loved by fans of fantasy and mystery, Midas is part of the Golden Ghost set (2,500 V-Bucks) and unlocks at Level 100 in Chapter 2, Season 2.

    Why Players Still Love Midas?

    Peely

alt="Peely skin in Fortnite—bright yellow banana character with googly eyes, standing in-game during Chapter 1 Season 8"

A bright yellow banana with googly eyes and human arms—Peely is Fortnite’s most attention-hungry character. He’s known for:

    • Jumping into volcanoes
    • Driving trucks in war zones
    • Volunteering to be kidnapped

Introduced in Chapter 1, Season 8, Peely unlocks at Level 47. His humor and color-changing ability make him a fan favorite. Variants include Potassius Peels, Agent Peely, and Yellow Peely—but the original remains iconic. Price: 950 V-Bucks.

    Aura

alt="Screenshot of Aura skin in Fortnite—wearing a yellow cap, twin braids, and gold chain, standing in-game from Season 8"

Wearing a yellow cap, twin braids, and a chunky chain, Aura is always on the hunt for treasure. She’s one of the most-used skins due to her affordability and popularity among pro players. Introduced in Season 8 (2019), she’s part of the Treasure Hunter set and costs just 800 V-Bucks.

With 41,612 players adding Aura to their Fortnite Wishlist, this stylish treasure-hunter remains one of the most popular uncommon skins—proving that simplicity, attitude, and a clean design still win fans season after season.

    Fishstick

alt="Screenshot of Fishstick skin in Fortnite—wide-eyed fish character with orange scales and blue outfit, standing in-game from Season 7"

A quirky, fish-like humanoid, Fishstick is beloved by kids and adults alike. Available for 1,200 V-Bucks, or as part of the Fish Food bundle for 2,200. First seen in Season 7, this skin is both weird and wonderful. Some players love his goofy look, others enjoy his in-game dialogue. Either way, he’s consistently ranked among Fortnite’s top skins.

To some players, Fishstick might look bizarre, even downright ugly—but his fame hasn’t faded. So what makes this oddball skin a fan favorite? Let’s dive in.

    Why Ugly Works in Fortnite?

In Fortnite, “ugly” isn’t a flaw—it’s a feature. Skins like Fishstick break the mold with goofy faces, clumsy animations, and meme-worthy charm. Players love them because they stand out, spark laughs, and flip the idea of what a hero should look like. With over 32,000 wishlists, Fishstick proves that being weird or even ugly can be a bold and popular style.

    Ending Words

I personally like Aura. Why? Because she feels more human—warm, relatable, and gives off pleasant vibes right from the start. Sure, skins are just part of the gaming surface, but what truly matters is the mind behind the controller. No matter which skin you wear, it’s your strategy, speed, and moves that define how your in-game player performs. So, think smart—and naturally, you’ll look smart. That’s the real flex.

  • Is It Just a Game? The Truth Behind Esports Obsession

Is It Just a Game? The Truth Behind Esports Obsession

    “Is it just a game?”
That’s the question 17-year-old Ali was asked by his parents when they found him playing Valorant at 3 a.m. again. But for Ali—and thousands of esports players like him—it’s not just a game. It’s a career, a passion, and a battlefield of challenges that most outsiders don’t see.

Welcome to the world of esports, where the stakes are high, the competition fierce, and the pressure relentless. Behind the flashing screens and roaring crowds lies a reality that’s far more complex than most imagine.

    The LAG That Kills Dreams

Let’s start with something every gamer dreads: lag. Imagine you’re in the final round of a tournament, your team is counting on you, and just as you’re about to make the winning move—your screen freezes. That split-second delay caused by poor internet or server issues can cost players thousands of dollars, sponsorships, and even their reputation.

For professional esports players, lag isn’t just annoying—it’s a career hazard. Many invest in high-end gear and premium internet plans, but even then, technical glitches can strike at the worst moments.

    Foul Language & Toxicity

Esports matches are intense. But with intensity often comes toxicity. Players are frequently exposed to foul language, insults, and even threats during matches—especially in online ranked games. While some develop thick skin, others internalize the negativity, which can affect their confidence and mental health.

Toxic environments also discourage newcomers and can lead to burnout. Many teams now hire psychologists or moderators to help manage team dynamics and online interactions.

    Mental Health: The Silent Opponent

Esports players face immense psychological pressure. The need to perform consistently, maintain rankings, and meet expectations can lead to anxiety, depression, and burnout. Unlike traditional sports, esports lack structured mental health support in many regions.

Players often isolate themselves to practice for hours, sacrificing sleep and social interaction. Over time, this isolation can lead to emotional instability and loneliness.

Eyes on the Prize—But at What Cost?

Staring at screens for 8–12 hours a day takes a toll. Eye strain, dry eyes, and blurred vision are common among esports athletes. Some report headaches and difficulty focusing on real-world tasks after long gaming sessions.

Blue light glasses and screen breaks help, but the damage accumulates. Long-term exposure can even lead to deteriorating eyesight, especially in younger players who start training early.

    Parents: The First Boss Level

Many esports players face parental restrictions. In cultures where academic success is prioritized, gaming is often seen as a distraction or waste of time. Players hide their practice schedules, sneak in matches late at night, and struggle to convince their families that esports is a legitimate career.

This lack of support can be emotionally draining. Some players give up their dreams entirely due to family pressure, while others push forward in secrecy, adding another layer of stress.

    Muscle Fatigue & Physical Strain

Esports may not involve running or jumping, but it’s physically demanding. Long hours of sitting and repetitive hand movements lead to wrist pain, backaches, and even carpal tunnel syndrome. Without proper posture and regular exercise, players risk long-term damage to their bodies.

Some teams now include physiotherapists and fitness routines in their training programs, but many solo players lack access to such resources.

    Addiction & Obsession

There’s a fine line between dedication and addiction. Esports players often become obsessed with improving their skills, climbing ranks, and staying ahead of the competition. This obsession can lead to unhealthy habits—skipping meals, avoiding sleep, and neglecting relationships.

Game addiction also affects emotional regulation. Players may become irritable, impulsive, or overly competitive, even outside the gaming world.

Studies & Social Life: The Forgotten Realms

Balancing esports with education and social activities is a major challenge. Players often skip classes, miss assignments, or drop out entirely to focus on gaming. While some succeed, many struggle to return to academics if their esports career doesn’t pan out.

Social life also takes a hit. Friends drift away, relationships suffer, and players find themselves disconnected from the world beyond their screens.

    Behavioral Shifts & Personality Changes

Constant exposure to competitive environments, toxic chats, and high-pressure situations can lead to behavioral changes. Players may become more aggressive, impatient, or emotionally volatile. Some develop a superiority complex, while others withdraw completely.

These shifts affect not just the player, but their families, friends, and teammates. Recognizing and addressing these changes early is crucial for long-term well-being.

    So, What’s the Solution?

Esports is here to stay—and it’s growing fast. But to ensure players thrive, not just survive, we need:

    • Mental health support: Regular counseling and emotional check-ins.
    • Parental education: Helping families understand the esports ecosystem.
    • Physical wellness programs: Including posture training, exercise, and breaks.
    • Academic flexibility: Schools and colleges offering hybrid models for esports athletes.
    • Community building: Safe spaces for players to connect, share, and grow.

Ali’s story isn’t unique. It’s the story of thousands chasing their dreams in a digital arena filled with both glory and grit. So next time someone says, “It’s just a game,” maybe ask them to play a round under pressure, with lag, a sore wrist, and a crowd watching.

They might just change their mind.

an online game scene of a fighting tournament on a zergomppsmwzbcebgaqlxq t1cy2hbqtkcnjzpxz4asjq
